Streaker Pools Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy covers streakerpools.com (the public site and demo), app.streakerpools.com (the product), api.streakerpools.com, and related Streaker Pools services. Streaker Pools is the brand name of the product we offer. It is the same v1 policy for the public site and product. The Terms of Service describe the service and hosting relationship.

1. What we collect

We collect the information needed to provide pool-management software, process commissioner hosting, communicate with users, secure the Service, and comply with law. If you do not provide information a feature requires, that feature may not work.

Account and eligibility information

An account includes an email address, a password handled by our authentication provider, a required public display name or handle, an age range, and records of the Terms and Privacy versions you accepted and when you accepted them. We do not collect first or last names for your account. We do not keep a full date of birth after the eligibility check.

Signup uses a neutral date-of-birth screen to determine eligibility before an account is created. If the submitted age is under 13, signup is rejected, no account is created, and the submitted signup information is not retained. Accepted accounts keep an age range (13–17 or 18+), not the submitted date of birth. Only an adult may create a pool or purchase hosting.

Pool and support information

We collect information you submit or generate while using a pool, such as pool membership, display name, picks, scores, standings, pool settings, and messages where messaging is available. We collect the contents of communications sent to [email protected], including support questions, privacy requests, appeals, dispute notices, and voluntary misuse reports.

If you subscribe on the public site, we collect the email address submitted to the launch or marketing list. Marketing email includes an unsubscribe path.

Payment information

When a commissioner purchases hosting, Stripe hosts the checkout and processes the payment. We receive the payment and transaction information Stripe makes available to operate the purchase, such as the commissioner’s email, billing details, payment status, and receipt or transaction identifiers. Full card numbers, security codes, and other full card credentials are not stored on our servers. Stripe handles its own records under Stripe’s privacy policy.

Automatically collected information

Our infrastructure and service providers may receive IP address, browser or device information, request and page timestamps, referring page, and technical logs needed for authentication, rate limiting, abuse prevention, debugging, and reliability. We use a sign-in cookie where needed to keep you signed in. The public site may use a simple return-visitor cookie so a signed-in browser can be sent to the product; that cookie does not contain a token, email, user ID, or other account credential and does not grant access.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• create, authenticate, and support accounts;
• host pools, display picks and standings to the appropriate pool participants, and send pool-operation notices;
• apply the 13+ play and 18+ create or purchase rules;
• process commissioner hosting payments and issue receipts;
• operate, maintain, secure, debug, and improve the Service;
• prevent fraud, misuse, unauthorized access, and abuse;
• respond to support, privacy, appeal, and dispute requests;
• send optional marketing messages when you subscribe, subject to unsubscribe; and
• comply with legal obligations and protect the rights, safety, and property of users and Streaker Pools.

We do not sell personal information. We do not run advertising, retargeting, or third-party marketing pixels in the signed-in product.

3. Public-homepage advertising technology and analytics

Paid advertising may send visitors to the public homepage at /. Reddit and X ad-attribution pixels may load only on that homepage to measure ad landings and homepage actions. They do not load on /terms, /privacy, or any signed-in product page. They are not used to measure activity inside the product.

The public site may also use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate page-view and reliability information. Cloudflare analytics is separate from Reddit and X advertising technology. The product does not use those public-homepage ad pixels.

We honor a browser’s Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an advertising opt-out. When the public homepage receives a GPC signal, the Reddit and X pixels are suppressed and are not loaded. You may also request advertising suppression by emailing [email protected]. Suppressing advertising technology does not stop essential account, security, or service messages.

4. Who receives information

We disclose information to service providers that process it for the purposes described above, to the commissioner and pool participants when the Service’s pool features require it, and when disclosure is required to comply with law or protect rights and safety.

Provider names and roles in this table describe the launch architecture. We will update the policy before adding a materially different processor or data use. We may disclose information to professional advisers, a successor in a reorganization or sale, or a government or law-enforcement authority when permitted or required by law.

5. Pool visibility and off-platform information

The commissioner can see the information needed to run a pool, including participant display names, email addresses used to join, picks, and standings. Other participants may see information according to the pool’s settings. We do not receive or store participant contributions, prize funds, distribution instructions, or other off-platform arrangements through the Service.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep account, pool, and acceptance records while an account or pool is active and for as long afterward as needed for security, fraud prevention, support, dispute handling, legal compliance, or financial reconciliation. Payment records may be retained as required for accounting, tax, chargeback, and legal purposes. Service providers retain information under their own policies. We do not promise a fixed deletion date where the operational schedule can change; we use bounded retention tied to these purposes.

An under-13 signup submission is rejected before an account is created and is not retained. If we confirm that an account belongs to someone under 13, we close it and delete its account information subject to information we must retain for the purposes above.

You may ask us to delete an account or other personal information by emailing [email protected]. Deletion may not remove information we need to keep for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, payment records, disputes, or records of a legal acceptance. We will explain a material limitation when one applies.

7. Security

We use HTTPS, managed authentication, access controls, and hosted infrastructure intended to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, and misuse. Payment card credentials are handled by Stripe Checkout rather than stored on our servers. No online service is completely secure, so protect your password and contact us promptly about suspected account misuse.

If a security incident requires notice, we will provide notice as required by applicable law. We do not promise a particular incident timeline or security certification.

8. Privacy requests and appeals

Email [email protected] to request access, correction, deletion, portability where applicable, marketing unsubscribe, or advertising-choice assistance. We may ask you to verify control of the account or provide other reasonable information before releasing or changing personal information. Do not send a password, full payment-card number, or other unnecessary sensitive information in an email.

If we deny a privacy request in whole or in part, you may appeal by replying to the same mailbox and identifying the request and the reason you believe the decision should be reconsidered. We will review the appeal and reply through that mailbox. There is no fee to submit an appeal.

9. Children and age eligibility

The Service is general-audience pool-management software and is not directed to children under 13. The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) addresses child-directed services and certain collection from children under 13. Signup uses a neutral date-of-birth screen to determine eligibility before an account is created. If the submitted age is under 13, signup is rejected, no account is created, and the submitted signup information is not retained. We do not knowingly maintain an under-13 account. If you believe we have an account belonging to someone under 13, contact [email protected] with enough information for us to investigate without sending unnecessary personal information.

People 13–17 may create accounts and join any pool. Only an adult may create a pool or purchase hosting. The signed-in product does not run advertising, retargeting, or third-party marketing pixels.

10. United States launch

The Service is offered only to people located in the United States at launch. We do not offer international signup, participation, or hosting purchase. If we expand to another region, we will publish an updated policy before accepting users there.

11. Version history

This is Privacy Policy v1, effective August 25, 2026. Each later publication will receive a new version identifier and effective date. We keep this text and every later version unchanged. Signup records the exact Terms and Privacy versions accepted, so a historical acceptance can be matched to the policy that applied at that time.
